Made a quick little doodle of an Alien in Mudbox did a quick colour comp.  I’d like to try and do a few more little alien heads over the next little while as they’re fun and fast.

Been working away on Trap’s Robo-Arm and things are going along.  My Art Director at work, hooked me up with some Vray renders of it.  Vray sure beats LightTracer.

I’ve been workin’ away on the detail up for the head.  Got most of the hard surface stuff done and have an idea about how this guy will talk.

So, I took the MudBox doodle a bit further.

I liked where things were going so I resurfaced the mesh and did some work to make the jaw and mechanical bits as seperate geometry.  I also built a quick body.  Here’s a quick concept paintover I did to test out some of the gear/armour.

Well, it’s been super busy at work, which has been making it hard to post anything lately.  This year, I hope to get more stuff up so let’s get the ball rolling:

I started a little doodle from a sphere in Mudbox.  It sorta turned into Trap Jaw from He Man.  I did a super fast paint over in PS and decided it might be worth taking further.

Lookin’ for the Revan pics I found a bunch of screens with some more of the assets I modelled while on the project.  Poly counts were low back in the day.

When I was working on KOTOR, I was lucky enough to do the concept for Darth Revan.  It’s pretty cool to see him make the toy scene as one of the Mighty Muggs from Hasbro.

Just downloaded the trial from the autodesk site! Pretty sweet stuff!  I was fortunate enough to participate in the beta, all the great folks on Mudbox team are truly commited to developing the best sculpting tools out there!
